Lawrence Joyner is the Founder and Executive Director of Reconstruct Art, Inc. a NYC non-profit that serves at-risk youth through the arts. Joyner was born in Harlem, New York where he studied at Center of Media Arts and apprenticed under noted artist-scholar Francis Palazzolo. He has exhibited throughout New York City. His pen and ink drawings and expressionistic collages are in private collections and institutions throughout the country.
